Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Amandeep Bhalla of Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group

Amandeep Bhalla, MD, is a spine surgeon at the Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group in Long Beach, Calif.

Dr. Bhalla also serves as director of spine trauma at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance and assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

 

Specializing in minimally invasive spinal surgery and motion preserving cervical disc replacement, Dr. Bhalla is a reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and The Spine Journal. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

After earning his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Bhalla completed his residency at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Bhalla is also fellowship trained from the Harvard combined orthopedic spine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s

Hospital, both in Boston.
