Specializing in neurological and spine surgery, Dr. Kim has interests in spinal disorders, complex spine surgery, tumors, infection and spinal trauma.
Dr. Kim serves as a professor in neurological surgery and chief of spinal neurosurgery at UC Davis Health. He is also the co-director of the Sacramento-based UC Davis Spine Center.
Board certified in neurological surgery, Dr. Kim is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, California Association of Neurological Surgeons and International Society for Computer-Aided Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Dr. Kim completed his residency at the Sacramento-based UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Kim is also fellowship trained from the University of California Los Angeles.
