1. Dr. Maurer joins Hanson Clinic from Parkview Medical Center, a private nonprofit hospital in Pueblo, Colo. He is the podiatry department chair.
2. He focuses on rear foot and ankle surgery and is trained in the STAR and Infinity total ankle replacement procedures.
3. Dr. Maurer received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Chester, Pa.
4. He underwent a two-month training program at the International Limb Lengthening Center at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore.
