Monroe County Medical Society elects Dr. Peter Ronchetti president: 4 key notes

Hand surgeon Peter Rochetti, MD, was elected president of the Monroe County Medical Society, according to a Henrietta Post report.


Here are four things to know:


1. Dr. Ronchetti practices at Hand Surgery Associates of Rochester (N.Y.) and is a clinical assistant professor of orthopedics at the University of Rochester.


2. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ronchetti is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.


3. While president of the Monroe County Medical Society, Dr. Ronchetti plans to advocate for local physicians and patients as well as develop and implement a physician wellness program. He will also work toward removing barriers to medical healthcare access.


4. Dr. Ronchetti earned his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
