3 sports medicine physicians on the move in April

Here are three sports medicine physicians who joined new practices or took on new roles in April 2017:

Angela Fiege, MD, of Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital became NASCAR’s new safety team medical director.

 

Former Olympian speed skater Eric Heiden, MD, opened The Heiden Institute of Sports Science and Human Performance in Park City, Utah.

 

Liberal, Kan.-based Southwest Medical Center added Pingal Desai, MD, to its staff.
