Neosho Memorial welcomes Dr. Bruce Monaco — 5 observations

Orthopedic surgeon Bruce Monaco, MD, joined Neosho Memorial’s Chanute, Kan.-based orthopedic clinic, according to The Chanute Tribune.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Dr. Monaco is a board-certified fellow of AAOS and has practiced for over 30 years.

 

2. He specializes in knee replacement and arthritis management.

 

3. Dr. Monaco joins Alexander Mih, MD, and Brett Olson, PA, in the nearly one-year-old Chanutte office.

 

4. He previously practiced in Champaign, Ill., and at Chicago-based Northwestern University while serving as company physician for the Chicago Ballet and orthopedic consultant for the Chicago Cubs. His most recent experience was at Baton Rouge, La.-based Ochsner Clinic Foundation.

 

5. NMRMC CEO Dennis Franks said, “We are pleased to bring another outstanding physician to Chanute… Dr. Monaco will be a good addition for the families of southeast Kansas.”
