Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Mihir Patel of OrthoIndy

Mihir Patel, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy.

He specializes in joint arthroscopies, knee arthroscopies, hallux valgus repair and lower leg and ankle fractures and dislocations.

 

He has published written works with PubMed and a variety of medical journals, and he presents at national orthopedic surgeon conferences. He is also currently serving as a team physician for the minor league Indianapolis Indians baseball team.

 

Dr. Patel graduated from St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine before completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University and his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery and sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell University in New York.
