Here are five points:
1. The CURE ACP system was named for CURE International, an organization helping children with physical disabilities in underserved areas. A portion of all CURE Anterior Cervical Plate sale proceeds will assist CURE International in treating patients.
2. The CURE ACP is designed for anterior screw fixation to the C2 to C7 levels of the cervical spine.
3. The titanium plate involves a patent-pending, one-step locking mechanism, which stop anchored screws from loosening.
4. The system complements the company’s Talos-C (HA) cervical interbody fusion device.
5. Craig Humphreys, MD, founder of Kenai Spine in Soldotna, Alaska, co-developed the CURE ACP system. He performed the first procedure with the CURE ACP.
