5 key notes on GS Medical in 2015 — And goals for 2016

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The company added significant resources to the research and development team. The additions include technology, machinery and team members.

 

2. The company received two new patents and FDA clearances over the past year.

 

3. GS Medical’s surgeons and distributors “continue to speak highly of their interactions and relationships with GSM” according to VP of Sales and Marketing Brian Oliver.

 

4. In addition to product launches, the company launched a new website to serve as a customer platform with real-time information about GS Medical’s growth and development.

 

5. In 2016, the company hopes to propel sales and revenue forward through partnerships with local and national GPOs and IDNs for quality, value and cost-conscious solutions designed for hospitals and surgery centers.

 

“Having the conversation with our surgeons and hospitals about breadth of treatment options that are available in the care of spine maladies is very rewarding,” said Heather Cain, clinical resource manager. “The greatest reward is when we as a comprehensive patient care team can identify procedural, product and economic solutions to help our customers meet their economic goals.”
