Dr. James is presently a member of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He obtained an orthopedic residency focusing on degenerative and traumatic musculoskeletal disease at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Dr. James went on to complete a combined orthopedic/neurosurgery fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.
