Orthopedics professor featured on space show

John M. Jurist, PhD, a biophysicist, orthopedic researcher and professor, has been featured on “The Space Show” hosted by David Livingston, according to Space Fellowship report.

Dr. Jurist is co-founder of the Space Enterprise Institute. He has held a faculty position in the division of orthopedic surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison, where he also served as associate director of the Biomedical Engineering Center.

 

Dr. Jurist is an emeritus member of the Orthopaedic Research Society, and is the author of a chapter in the textbook “Orthopaedic Mechanics: Procedures and Devices.”
