3 Tips for Decreasing Patient No-Shows Without Lowering Patient Satisfaction

The three tips are:

 

1. Always call your patients the night before their appointments.
2. Encourage your patients to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance.
3. Create a policy for patients arriving late to their appointments, but avoid posting threatening signs in the waiting room or allowing your staff to threaten patients with “not being seen.”
