Ashland (Ore.) Orthopedics is set to close as Asante Ashland Community Hospital transitions to a satellite campus next year, Ashland.news reported Dec. 19.
Asante gave 90-day notices to orthopedic staff on Dec. 4, and closure is expected by March 4. On Dec. 3, Asante Health said. Asante Ashland Community Hospital will transition to a satellite campus by spring 2026.
Multiple patients have reported having their surgeries with Ashland Orthopedics canceled, the report said.
A spokesperson for Asante confirmed the closure to Ashland.news and said the health system is supporting patients with referrals. The spokesperson didn’t say why the practice was closing.
