Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Nicholas Ahn of University Hospitals

Nicholas Ahn, MD, is the director of the Bohlman Spine Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He is a member of the department of orthopedic surgery at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Dr. Ahn has a special interest in adult scoliosis and spine disease.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ahn has participated in research and published articles in professional journals about topics such as disc degeneration and vertebral compression fractures.

 

Dr. Ahn earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. His additional training includes an orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
