SpineGuard OK’d to Market PediGuard System in Japan

San Francisco-based SpineGuard received regulatory approval, or a Ninsho, to market its Classic and Curved PediGuard products in Japan.

Japan is the second largest spine market in the world after the U.S.

The PediGuard system is a handheld device that alerts surgeons to potential pedicular or vertebral breaches. It helps limit radiation exposure and decreases time needed to place a pedicle screw.
