West Orange Healthcare District renames Dr. Denise Carter to board

Denise Carter, MD, a Florida Center for Orthopedics physician, was reappointed to the West Orange Healthcare District board, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Dr. Carter is a sports medicine physician with board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport and completed her residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

 

Dr. Carter’s additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at the Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.
