Here are four highlights:
1. Currently, Dr. Prendergast serves on the board of directors for the Infectious Disease Research Institute, Cancer Genetics, Medibio and Cyclica. He is also an advisory committee member for the Biden Cancer Initiative.
2. Dr. Prendergast spent the majority of his career at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, serving in various positions from director of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center to chair of the department of biochemistry and molecular biology.
3. Dr. Prendergast spent 22 years on the board of directors for Eli Lilly and spent time working on different advisory boards for the National Institutes of Health. At Perimeter, he will be involved with the clinical board of advisors.
4. Perimeter develops advanced surgical imaging tools to allow surgeons, radiologists and pathologists to better assess microscopic tissue structures during surgery.
