Penn Medicine partners with Philadelphia Flyers, Wells Fargo Center

Philadelphia based-Penn Medicine signed a sponsorship deal Jan. 13 to become the official health system of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia Business Journal reports.

Penn Medicine is now the team’s official medical services provider, which includes orthopedic, on-ice and general practice care.

The system will collaborate with the Flyers on a community health initiative focusing on cancer research and cardiovascular health.

This is Penn Medicine’s first major sports sponsorship since 2014.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
