In addition to opening the new unit, the hospital welcomes the addition of Jeffrey C. Glenn, MD, the newest addition to the surgical team. Dr. Glenn, a specialist in total joint replacement who completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, will join the staff Thursday.
The new unit will specialize in total joint replacement. A large number of its surgeons are fellowship-trained in both hip and knee replacement. The new program will also include a patient navigator, a staff member who will educate and support joint replacement patients and their families before and after surgery.
