1. The network is the result of the consolidation and expansion of three physician practices:
• Woodstock, Ga.-based Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
• Mariette, Ga.-based Northside East Cobb Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
• Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center of Atlanta
2. Vonda J. Wright, MD, was named chief of Northside Hospital Sports Medicine Network. She is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
3. The network provides musculoskeletal care, surgical and medical consultations, a sports concussion program, sports nutrition, physical therapy and a sports performance and research initiative.
