Michael Padilla, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Orthopedic Surgery in Ada, Okla., according to The Ada News.

1. Dr. Padilla is a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon.

 

2. He became interested in orthopedics after tearing his ACL.

 

3. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.

 

4. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Padilla did a knee and sports medicine research fellowship at Kaiser Permanente, also in San Diego.

 

5. During his residency, Dr. Padilla treated U.S. Navy Seals.
