Mercyhealth will commence its sports medicine responsibilities at the start of the 2019-20 school year.
The health system will provide RU with a licensed athletic trainer and offer CPR certification training for coaching staff, team physicians and student-athlete sport physicals.
Over 280 athletes and 25 coaches from the university compete in 14 NCAA Division III sports.
