Drexel Athletics’ CMO elected to American College of Sports Medicine’s board of trustees

Thomas Trojian, MD, was elected to the American College of Sports Medicine’s board of trustees.

Dr. Trojian will serve a three-year term, starting after the ACSM’s 66th Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., from May 28 to June 1. He is a professor at Philadelphia-based Drexel University and the CMO of Drexel Athletics. 

A certified ultrasonographer, Dr. Trojian has a Department of Defense grant to study the effects of manual wheelchair use on rotator cuffs. Dr. Trojian has been an ACSM fellow and section editor of the ACSM journal Current Sports Medicine Reports for over a decade.
