Four orthopedic surgeons who treated professional athletes in the last few months:

Joel Boyd, MD, repaired Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu's right knee, the team announced.

Robert Anderson, MD, will repair Washington Wizards point guard John Wall's ruptured left Achilles tendon.

Michelle Carlson, MD, performed ligament repair surgery on Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie's right thumb.

Pat Connor, MD, performed an arthroscopic procedure on Carolina Panthers' quarterback Cam Newton's right shoulder.
