Here are five things to know about Dr. Seifert:
1. In addition to his role at Western Kentucky in Louisville, Dr. Seifert also serves as the director of the sports concussion program at Norton Neuroscience Institute.
2. Dr. Seifert has a special interest in neurology and sports medicine.
3. He completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma and his residency at the University of Texas Medical School. His additional training includes a fellowship at the Houston Headache Clinic.
4. Beyond his clinical work Dr. Seifert served as head of the NCAA Headache Task Force and is a board member of the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority.
5. Dr. Seifert cares for both youth and adult athletes.
