Dr. Scott Hanson operates on hand of Pirates pitcher Kyle Crick

Scott Hanson, MD, operated on the right hand of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Kyle Crick, The Athletic reports.

Mr. Crick tore a tendon in his right index finger after getting into a fight with a teammate Sept. 9. He will miss the rest of the season as he recovers from the procedure. Both Mr. Crick and teammate Felipe Vazquez were fined for fighting.
