1. Dr. Philippon performed procedures on Mr. Taylor’s right and left hip. It remains unclear when the wide receiver will return.
2. Mr. Taylor has been playing through the labrum tear in his right hip since preseason.
3. Dr. Philippon is an orthopedic surgeon and managing partner at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo. He is also a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation trustee.
4. Additionally, Dr. Philippon serves as director of sports medicine fellowship and as the co-chairman of the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail.
