Neal ElAttrache, MD, operated on Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian’s left shoulder, according to Roto Baller.

Here are four takeaways:


1. Dr. ElAttrache performed the surgery to repair the damaged posterior capsule in the quarterback’s left shoulder.


2. It is unclear when Mr. Siemian will return or if he will be able to start in the 2018 season.


3. Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic board of directors and program director for the Kerlan-Jobe Fellowship.


4. The orthopedic surgeon is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Rams. He is also an orthopedic consultant to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and the PGA Tour.
