1. Dr. Altchek removed three fragmented loose bodies from Mr. Freeman’s shoulder and cleaned multiple bone spur formations.
2. The Braves believe Mr. Freeman will be recovered for the beginning of the 2020 season.
3. Dr. Altchek is an orthopedic surgeon and co-chief emeritus of New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery’s sports medicine and shoulder services.
