1. Dr. Kelly, assisted by Timothy Kremchek, MD, repaired the labrum in Mr. Mesoraco’s right hip.
2. Mr. Mesoraco is expected to be able to play baseball by mid-January.
3. Dr. Bryan Kelly is chief of the sports medicine and shoulder service as well as co-director of the Center for Hip Preservation care at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
4. He is the head team physician for the New York Rangers and associate team physician for the New York Giants.
5. Dr. Kremchek, founder of Sharonville, Ohio-based Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Center, is the team medical director for the Cincinnati Reds.
