Here are three things to know:

1. TowerLOX-EXT MIS Extended Tab Pedicle Screws are designed to allow percutaneous tower attachment after the extended tabs have been removed.

2. TowerLOX-EXT’s narrow insertion path is designed to complement the TowerLOX MIS Pedicle Screw System’s patented articulating rod delivery/reduction options and expand the system’s capabilities.

3. According to Captiva Spine President Dale Mitchell, the company intended to “reduce insertion pathway, eliminate counter-torque wound expansion and retain the versatility provided by TowerLOX’s unique instrumentation for rod delivery, rod reduction and spondylolisthesis reduction.”
