Dan Herman, MD, PhD, Prakash Jayabalan, MD, and Katherine Rizzone, MD, are studying the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions using cooled radiofrequency ablation technology.
The researchers will compare the efficacy of genicular nerve CRFA on knee osteoarthritis outcomes via ultrasound guidance and fluoroscopy.
The study’s goal is to evaluate differences in patient pain levels and patient-reported function between the two procedures.
