Three things to know:
1. Mr. Christensen, former founder and president of 3D printing company Medical Modeling, was involved in the initial FDA U.S. clearances for 3D-printed implants for orthopedics and spine.
2. Mr. Allison is cofounder of manufacturing and software provider Solid Concepts. After the company was acquired by Stratasys, it merged with Harvest Technologies and RedEye to form Stratasys Direct Manufacturing.
3. Both individuals invested capital to bolster Precision ADM’s growth strategy in the 3D printing aerospace and medical industries.
