2 NBA players have surgeries at high-profile orthopedic center in a week

Joe Harris of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets had surgery at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery for an arthroscopic procedure. Martin O’Malley, MD, performed the procedure Nov. 29.

Miami Heat player Bam Adebayo had surgery at Los Angeles-based Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb. Steven Shin, MD, performed the surgery Dec. 6.
