Woman dies after being hit by car outside Georgia spine clinic

A woman has died after being struck by a car Nov. 9 in the parking lot of Athens (Ga.) Spine Center, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.

She was taken to the hospital, where her condition deteriorated, and she died Nov. 15, Athens-Clarke police told the news outlet.

Police questioned the driver of the vehicle at the scene. They are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact them.
