Three things to know:
1. Dr. Dover completed the neurosurgery residency in July, serving as co-chief resident for the final two years.
2. One of her mentors was Erika Petersen, MD, director of the section of functional and restorative neurosurgery at the university and the first female neurosurgeon in Arkansas with the rank of professor.
3. Dr. Dover said she hopes to return to Arkansas after she completes a functional neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
