The research program will investigate novel therapies for hard-to-treat pediatric brain tumors, including medulloblastoma and ependymoma, according to a Feb. 8 news release from the hospital.
Dr. Taylor will also serve as a pediatric neurosurgeon in the department of surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital.
With the addition of Dr. Taylor, Texas Children’s is now the largest pediatric neurosurgeon team in the U.S. In 2022, the hospital’s pediatric neurosurgery division was ranked No. 2 by U.S. News & World Report, the release said.
