State of Spine Surgery Think Tank 2019 to take place in June

The State of Spine Surgery Think Tank 2019 will take place at the Ritz Carlton in Aruba and cover the business of spine, physician wellness, patient safety and more.

The event, held June 27 to 29, will include open discussions, debates and symposia. Frank Phillips, MD, directs the event along with co-chairs Todd Albert, MD, and Alexander Vaccaro, MD. Additional directors include Hyun Bae, MD, Greg Mundis, MD, and Kris Radcliff, MD. The State of Spine Surgery Think Tank aims to bring together spine surgeons with technology innovators, scientists and healthcare company executives.

Rush University Medical Center CEO Omar Lateef, DO, will deliver keynote addresses, including “Patient safety: The currency of medicine” and “How do we get rated? Should we care?” Janice Hogan, partner at Hogan Lovells, will also deliver a keynote presentation titled “Where is the FDA at with spinal implants and biologics in 2019?”
