Spineology has launched its OptiMesh HA Nano implant for interbody fusion, according to a Jan. 13 news release.

The implant is a first-of-its-kind patient-specific expandable implant with a hydroxyapatite nano-surface treatment. It is designed to promote rapid cellular response and establish a three-dimensional bioactive surface area for osseointegration and infection prevention.

“The OptiMesh platform is uniquely built on our conform and expand implant technology that adapts to individual patient anatomy,” Brian Snider, Spineology’s CEO, said in the release. “Now, Spineology delivers a first-of-its-kind solution that integrates a well-studied surface treatment, optimized to support spinal fusion goals, and promote osseointegration.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
