Spine surgeon Dr. Frank Valone III to join California Pacific Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine: 5 highlights

Frank H. Valone III, MD, will join California Pacific Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in San Francisco, effective Sept. 12.

1. Dr. Valone specializes in cervical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and reconstructive spine surgery.

 

2. An author of more than 10 peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Valone has also written three book chapters.

 

3. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AO Spine and North American Spine Society.

 

4. After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., Dr. Valone completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at University of California San Francisco.

 

5. Dr. Valone completed his adult and pediatric spine surgery fellowship at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis and Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.
