Spine Health Foundation honors Dr. Timothy Fullagar with 2015 Hope Award — 5 key notes

The Spine Health Foundation honored neurosurgeon Timothy Fullagar, MD, with the 2015 Hope Award.

The award recognizes excellence in accomplishing Spine Health Foundation’s mission to help others get back to health. Here are five things to know about Dr. Fullagar:

 

1. He currently practices at East Tennessee Brain & Spine Center. His previous practice was in Englewood, Colo.

 

2. Dr. Fullagar spent 15 years of duty with the United States Naval Reserve and completed his military career at the rank of Commander.

 

3. Throughout his career, Dr. Fullagar has had a special interest in managing cervical and lumbar disorders, peripheral nerve conditions and intracranial pathology treatment. He is known for treating brain tumors.

 

4. Dr. Fullagar earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee’s Health Science Center’s Semmes Murphey Clinic in Memphis.

 

5. The award was given as part of the Spine Health Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Derby Day. The Spine Health Foundation is a non-profit organization advocating on behalf of uninsured or under-insured individuals with spine disorders.
