Dr. John Deegan adds Reflect scoliosis correction system

John Deegan, DO, performed his first case using Globus Medical’s Reflect scoliosis correction system, according to a March 4 LinkedIn post.

Reflect is designed to treat progressive idiopathic scoliosis. It uses a flexible cord to enable correction through growth modulation and is an alternative to traditional rigid fusion constructs.

Dr. Deegan is a surgeon with Danville, Pa.-baesd Geisinger Medical Center.
