North American Spine is focused on offering minimally invasive spine procedures. Here are five things to know about the acquisition:
1. North American Spine will now offer CuraSpine and SecuraSpine along with the AccuraScope procedure.
2. AccuraScope and CuraSpine procedures are minimally invasive decompressions designed to alleviate pressure on spinal nerves. SecuraSpine provides stabilization through small incision for patients with spinal instability.
3. The less invasive procedures have smaller incisions, lower risk of complications and shorter recovery times than traditional open surgery.
4. Nobilis Health owns and operates surgical facilities throughout the United States that provide access to low-cost outpatient settings using new advancements in medical technology.
5. Nobilis is focused on providing the holistic continuum of care.
“We are excited to take this important step in bolstering the clinical offerings in our continuum of care,” said Nobilis CEO Chris Lloyd. “Many patients that were historically not deemed suitable candidates for treatment now have access to a wide range of advanced minimally invasive procedures in our state-of-the-art facilities.”
