Newton-Wellesley Hospital names Dr. Louis Jenis CMIO: 3 things to know

Newton-Wellesley (Mass.) Hospital named Louis Jenis, MD, its new chief medical and innovation officer, the Worcester Business Journal reports.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Dr. Jenis has been practicing orthopedic surgery for more than 20 years, specializing in spine surgery.

 

2. After earning his medical degree from Boston University, Dr. Jenis completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He completed fellowship training from the Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin.

 

3. Dr. Jenis is also a visiting professor at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
