Neurosurgeon Dr. Ramon Salumbides retires: 4 key notes

Ramon Salumbides, MD, a neurosurgeon at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Neb., has retired, according to a Kearney Hub report.

1. Dr. Salumbides has been practicing medicine for 40 years, of which the last 29 years have been in Kearney.

 

2. He focuses on peripheral surgeries, spinal procedures, spinal decompression, spinal fusions and spinal reconstructions.

 

3. He completed his residency in Philadelphia and New York.

 

4. Dr. Salumbides was instrumental in establishing CHI Health Good Samaritan as a trauma center, which is now a level two trauma center.
