The clinical travelling fellowship spans at least one month at three to five different medical centers to study spine techniques.
The winners for the grants and fellowship are:
· Young investigator — Basic grant ($50,000): Aaron Fields, PhD
· Basic grant ($49,910): Anthony Windebank, MD
· Basic grant ($39,600): Jeremy Mercuri, PhD
· Clinical traveling fellowship ($7,220): Akram Eltayib Mohamad Nasr, MBBS
Dr. Nasr will be traveling to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas during his fellowship.
