The Medical Center of Plano (Texas) may expand its Brain and Spine Hospital to meet patient volume, according to Community Impact Newspaper.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. In 2014, the Medical Center of Plano expanded its Brain and Spine Hospital for $70 million.

 

2. The medical center is considering another expansion to offer more comprehensive spine and brain services. The CEO noted patients want a one-stop shop.

 

3. Currently, the hospital provides corrective surgery for various spinal conditions as well as services for epilepsy, brain tumors, scoliosis and stroke, among others.
