The Gold Seal was given for the center’s Spine Surgery program due to the center’s demonstration of compliance for health care quality and safety in disease specific care.
Interim executive director of Certification Programs at The Joint Commission noted, “In achieving Joint Commission certification, Maple Grove Center for Restorative Surgery has demonstrated its commitment to the highest level of care for its patients needing spine surgery.”
The center had their on-site review at the end of February.
Maggie Lindstrom, administrator for Maple Grove, commented, “With Joint Commission certification, we are making a significant investment in quality on a day-to-day basis from the top down. Joint Commission accreditation provides us a framework to take our organization to the next level and helps create a culture of excellence. Achieving Joint Commission certification in Spine Surgery, for our organization, is a major step toward maintaining excellence and continually improving the care we provide.”
