Jersey Shore University Medical Center opens neuro-ICU

Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J., recently opened a neuro-intensive care unit.

The new ICU offers care for patients with neurological and neurosurgical illnesses, including spinal cord disorders, nerve and muscle diseases, subarachnoid hemorrhage, complex stroke and brain injury. It includes 12 beds.
