Orthopedic spine surgeon Zachary Lovato, DO, joined El Paso (Texas) Specialty Hospital, the El Paso Herald-Post reports.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Lovato received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He underwent adult deformity and spinal reconstruction surgery fellowship training at Tempe, Ariz.-based Sonoran Spine Center.

2. Dr. Lovato performs minimally invasive and traditional spine surgeries.

3. El Paso Specialty Hospital is a private, physician-owned hospital that specializes in orthopedics, urology, bariatrics, general and spine surgical care for the greater El Paso region.
